I was introduced to Anh via Instagram where we also did the majority of our communication. I wanted a very particular editorial concept for the photoshoot so I sent Anh several pics for reference. Anh made sure I was comfortable and we explored many different lighting options and poses while successfully replicating the reference pics. Anh is great at giving constant feedback to models on changing expressions, hand placements, where the lighting was, and if our outfit was being captured how we wanted it to. The final product was amazing and she was very generous with the package contract I signed for. I also appreciated how Anh kept me informed after the shoot on when the pics would be finalized and such. Anh's talent for capturing people is also complimented by the professionalism, kindness, and fantastic work ethic. Anh Phan is the best photographer in KC, and it's not even close. I've personally done two shoots with Anh, and the results have always gone beyond my expectations. The first shoot I did with Anh, was a portrait photoshoot, and the amount of detail and effort Anh put into the shoot was amazing. Anh always takes her time editing the photos and doesn't share them until she is absolutely satisfied with them. Let me tell you that it is worth the wait. She turned me into a professional model in one shoot. Everybody was saying how these pictures looked like they belonged on GQ and Vogue. My favorite personal pictures to date.

The second shoot I did with Anh was an engagement photo shoot with my fiancé. We went to this beautiful location with a lot of tall trees and greenery. Anh was able to capture those little moments and details that my fiancé and I will remember forever. I'm grateful that Anh is a photographer who just makes you worry about taking the pictures, nothing else. We felt like we could just be natural, be ourselves, and Anh will capture those moments for us. The end result was amazing, these are moments that we will cherish forever.
